Condo owners still brazenly advertising illegal rentals at Bangkok luxury condo

The fact that a reception desk and other paraphernalia were set up in the lobby of the condo in question suggests that the developers and/or management are involved in the short-term renting. In addition, the fact that nobody has been named and shamed in the media supports the view that the culprits are probably connected enough to not suffer much in the way of consequences - perhaps even to resume business as usual, as seems to be the case in this latest story.

Where have all the comments gone? Many people think AirBnB is a good thing for ordinary families and helps the Thai economy grow. It pulls in foreign exchange and for once individuals can benefit not just chain hotels.

tell that to the IMO's that are chasing the owners, maybe they listen to you

how annoying this is that the residents has to endure this arbitrariness that their building is being used as a hotel. some time ago I had a deal with guys from https://www.onepearlbank-official.com.sg and there in Singapure such problems with illegal rentals is strictly regulated by the government and they severely punish for all such attempts. in case with C-Ekkamai I believe that police and immigration services has to control it and apply tough measures to condo owners, but if even police raids doesn't help..
