webfact
Democrat meeting about joining Palang Pracharat coalition called off Photo from the Democrat Party FB page Talks among the Democrat party’s core members, about whether to join the Palang Pracharat-led coalition, have become bogged down over Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s insistence that he screen the list of potential cabinet ministers. The meeting of the Democrat party’s executive committee and MPs, scheduled for Monday evening to discuss the coalition issue, was abruptly called off. Democrat party spokesman Ramet Rattanachaweng told the media that the meeting was called off because Palang Pracharat did not respond, by the time of the meeting, to the party’s conditions, one of which involves constitutional amendments. keith101
The Thai people have voted on who they want as members of Parliament and that is who should be in and not someone else deciding who he does and doesn't want , its called Democracy .
Eric Loh
The meeting should be called off because the Dem decide to withdraw their support for the junta party and not because of the Dem's bargaining for ministerial positions. Still a cockroach party.

Golden Triangle
Maybe they heard me ranting at the TV as I was getting ready for bed calling them all the names under the sun, the Mrs wasn't too impressed either, especially when I told her that the Dems were selling her country down the river, she voted FFP. pornprong
It just takes 5 disenchanted Democrats to cross over to the pro-democracy side and it's all over for Prayuth and co. It's really just a matter of time until the anti-democracy coalition collapses and it's either back to the polls or time to roll out the tanks again. What a bunch of conscienceless blood suckers. They never want the country to amount to anything other than some banana republic. Abhisit should be tarred and feathered. The man is a disease. Have to get ready for the heart break of cha cha staying on. It is sickening. Hope I am wrong.

I also hope Prayut digs in & really upsets the Dems enough to change their minds about who's going to be in charge!

BuckBee
Dems are already in, they just making it look like a hard decision and making most of the bargaining . They prostituted themselves at every chance they ever had and this time be no different unfortunately . Pro Dem parties played a real weak game & with all legal action against best new player in the elections they likely fail keep a coalition as FFP be squished buy Junta's bully team ... I'm not so sure about being squished - FFP have a pretty high profile internationally ,- action against them may not go unnoticed or unremarked. BuckBee
^ Junta really not concerned on international opinion, they want internationals keep noses out and preferably short stay in country only . They only worry about international actions after the event and then only if action rather than vocal remarks .
