Non Immigrant O Multi Entry Visa

Featured Replies

I currently have the above which I acquired based on marriage and showing sufficient funds. It expires on Jan 1st. I understand I can easily convert this into a marriage visa but have a few Qs

1) What is the latest I can convert this? 3 months after 1st January assuming I re-enter TH on 1st Jan of is it 1st Jan itself?

2) Do I need to apply for the marriage extension visa outside the country or can I just do it at Immigration?

3) I assume I will be on a non-immigration O visa again valid for 1 year if I carry our procedure in 2).

If so I assume I need to show the 800k and health insurance, etc.

You can apply for the marriage extension before the final 20/15 days of any entry.

You apply at your local immigration office.

You will have 12 months extension.

You need 400,000 Baht in the bank or proof of 40,000 Monthly income.

No need for health insurance.

You buy a Re Entry permit.

3,800 for a multi.
