Note: just got the SMS from Bangkok Bank as I wrote this.

 

Was about to top-up my at-home suicide-kit with lao yaa dong as the possibility of another mano a mano with Manila started tickling the edges of my paranoa.

 

Found out, via a thread on the Home Country forum, that June 3rd. was a new holiday, introduced in May this year.

Well, I got mine.

But, are you aware that June 1 Bangkok bank requires all transfers in the IAT format?

It was April before but they extended it to June.

So, unless you contact whoever transfers your money and meet the requirements of the IAT format, BKK bank may reject the transfer.

AFAIK. this does not apply to those who set up the transfers to BB years ago.
