Re-entry while on under consideration stamp

I will have to go home for 1 week while my non- o  B extension of stay is under consideration 30 days. Can i still get a reentry permit as long as i am back before last day on stamp.  Work permit extension is during this period also.

Yes, no problem getting a re-entry permit.

 

On your return make sure the immigration officer knows you want stamping for the (less than 30 days) re-entry validity. Last time I did this the officer asked if I really did want stamping for one day ????
