marriage extension possible problems

Featured Replies

I will be applying for my third marriage extension and only have the last six months of 40 - 45K deposits, prior to this I topped up my account as needed.

If my IO turns me down can I apply for an extension to visit wife and during this time obtain marriage visa from Lao and then re-apply with twelve months of bank statements which they should accept ?

Any thoughts of any alternatives ?.

The new requirement for income to be transferred into a Thai bank account only became effective from Jan 2019. This year Immigration are supposed to show 'leniency' in these situations.

Krabi, first comment a few months was only 400K but reading many posts it seems that bank deposits and letter should be accepted BUT interpretations by individuals seem to rule.
