Can you see protests in Thailand like the recent mass demonstration in Hong Kong, happening? I can't.

I make no reference to anything earlier in this thread.

To answer your specific question quoted here, no, the Thais are apathetic and have no fight in them as they have been trained from birth to obey their Sino-Thai masters.

A fundamental part of Thai culture is to accept whatever the "good people" tell you to. To disobey is to be Un-Thai and NOTHING is worse on earth.

Kind of like Vietnam (commie state no elections and such) but they aren't having much luck there or in Hong Kong for that matter right now.  If they couldn't make it work in Vietnam or Hong Kong what makes them think Thailand will be any different?

The Thais are a soft touch. Easily conquered long ago by the Chinese.

Unlike

...

Indonesia, who fought Chinese

(tiny) Malaysia, who fought Chinese

Vietnam, who fought Chinese

Philippines, who fought Chinese

Myanmar, who fought Chinese

(tiny) Laos, who resisted Chinese

Japan and Korea, who fought Chinese

...

Thailand just spread its legs.
