What are the exact requirements to get a yellow book? My wife owns a house in Issan and has a blue book. I want to get a yellow book from the local amphur.

It varies from one Amphoe to another. Best to check with the local Amphoe about what they require.

DOPA manual has the requirements in Thai but few District Offices follow it. They seem to make their own set of requirements, so more than the manual, so less. Here in Bang Rakam (Phitsanulok) the Amphur man told me I must be MARRIED to get a Yellow book for the house I built and lived in for 7 years.

Now that's a disadvantage !    LOL
