Traveling with pets in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi,

i wanted to check on renting a vehicle to travel with my pets while in Thailand. I’ll need a van as they’ll be in the travel crates. Would anyone know where I could rent from and around how much it would cost per day.

Im planning to attend a dog show in Thailand and I will need for airport pickup and drop off, and daily pick up and drop from the hotel to the show arena.

if anyone has any contact or can assist please let me know.

thanks

Depending on how long you will be driving you may be able to do it in a pick up which may be easier to rent?

I attended a couple of dog shows some years ago where all the breeders/owners turned up with fully grown GSDs in travel crates (so not small). Most seemed to manage two crates side by side overhanging the lowered tailgate.

You also do not mention what area for renting recs?

How big are the dogs or crates? You can rent some passenger vans at bkk. I've rented an Innova several times

Thank you so much for the responses. I think I’ll have to rent an Innova as the crate is a bit big. From the airport I think I can get one from the stands but after that I will rent with a driver as I remember not many cab driver liked a dog crate in their vehicle.
