I went to Soi 6 Pattaya for two weeks for my 60th birthday.

That was three years ago.

Going to Bumrungrad Hospital next week for more tests.

You don't need a test you being 60 three years ago means your 63 now. ????

From 1962, when you were 3 years old...

My brother sent me a photo from 1959 - I'm the runt on the chair...

Happy Birthday Simon. Just one question - was that frenetic activity executed in air-conditioned comfort?

Nope - I have a small air-con in my bedroom but not in my living room/classroom.

I don't sweat much - got acclimatised to the heat/humidity when I lived in Yangon and the electricity was cut every night to my condo building so that it could be supplied to the tourist hotels.  With no generator and so not even a fan, it was sweltering....

It gets up to about 43 degrees in my living room on a hot day (rented house with metal roof and no insulation under that metal sheeting - useless builders!).

Acclimatised is right, not a drop of sweat to be seen. I'd be a puddle in 30 seconds. Enjoy.

simon, you need a hobby.

LoL, actually I have a hobby ==> old-fashioned amateur radio (ham radio).

Hobbies are meant to relax you and to be enjoyable.  I usually find ham radio very frustrating, because nothing ever seems to work correctly!!  My antennas don't work, my cables break.  Damn annoying hobby!!

HBD. Be careful how you translate "ham" radio into Thai ????

LoL, luckily I speak/read very good Thai language and know what ham radio is called in Thai and 'dick' doesn't enter into it....
