Film crew member stabbed in the neck on Warner Bros set near Watford

The studios in Leavesden are known for housing the set of the Harry Potter series

A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the neck on a film set at the Warner Bros Studios in Hertfordshire.

Warner Bros told the Watford Observer that it was an "isolated workplace incident" which police were investigating.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said officers had responded to a call from the Leavesden studios, where the Harry Potter series was filmed, just after midday on Wednesday.

One man was taken to hospital with a neck injury, while another man aged 54 was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. He is currently in police custody.
