What are the following policies at Chonburi immigration, Jomtien Soi 5 regarding marriage extensions? Do they start the under consideration period on the day of the application? Also, do they give any grace period for bank seasoning verification letters, example: 1 to 7 days? Has anyone experienced either of these policies since April 1?

They'll give you the stamp on the day of application, but I can't advise when it starts from.

There is no grace period, it's 400K in a Thai bank for 2 months prior to the date of application.

Jomtien immigration starts the 30 day report back date on the day you apply.

The will accept a letter from the bank up to 3 days early from info I have seen. Getting it the day before should certainly not be a problem.

I guess I wasn't clear about the grace period for the bank letter question. My question deals with how long is the validity of the letter: example, if you get the letter on a Friday will it be accepted on the following Monday?Tuesday? etc.

Thanks ubonjoe, I hope you're correct. I want a valid bank letter a day or 2 before, so I can get an update and make copies early on the morning of applying.
