Yesterday I lost about a dozen tilapia from my fish pond. Never happened before. The pond is large and deep, but water level down from 4m to 2m due to dry season. I googled around and see similar stories saying it's oxygen depletion from the heat. So I'm running my aeration pump more. But local people say it's due to some sort of acid rain from the recent light rains. Not sure about that theory.

Any fish farming experts out there with ideas?

Australia :about a million fish have died amidst a severe drought and intense heat.  . Though the state government has already installed aerator devices to inject air into the river to try keep the fish alive. According to the minister, “This mortality is beyond the control of the government and if there was something else that could be done we would have done it
