Phuket wildlife officials install monkey warning signs around Mudong canal

 

The advisory is displayed in four different languages: Thai, English, Chinese and Russian.
 

PHUKET: Wildlife officials in Phuket have installed signs near Klong Mudong canal in Chalong/Wichit to advise people against feeding monkeys in the area in order to avoid being bitten or contracting diseases.

The Phuket office of the Highways Dept is spending B720 million on a four-lane road through Pa Khlok to join the Heroines Monument with what is to become a major intersection at Muang Mai, north of Thalang Town.

Chinese tourist "opened the emergency door" on Thai Lion Air as it prepared for takeoff

Manager said that Chinese media was reporting that a Chinese tourist had been escorted off a Thai Lion Air flight after he opened the emergency door of an aircraft as it was preparing to take off at Don Muang Airport earlier this week.
