Social media users were debating what part of the body the hair came from as KFC scurried to have the hair fully investigated.

Unless the root of the hair is also there, no DNA can be obtained from it and its origin cannot be conclusively proven.

I'm certain that the same hair had been in a way too hot coffee before at a Mc Donald's and was then sent to a KFC, one of these Kentucky Fried Hair Chicken outlets.

It pretty much looks like a hair that was formerly attached to a ball.

Maybe a DNA test on that hair, ...and on that of that lady and of the other persons being/having been around her place might bring a 'hit', and, in that eventuality, widely published too, on her expenses, with her to pay till her last day for the damage caused! Not that I like KFC, MD or any other junk food(!) provider, or greedy commercial company, but this is getting too easy, like the mega-dumb twit in the US who got severe burns from pouring a cup of, ...hot, coffee over her skin, and made millions of USD with it (95+% of for the disgusting attorneys?)!

Holy crap, people have hair and sometimes it falls out, get over it. This is equally ridiculous as when people find a tiny worm in their salad and act like they've nearly been assassinated.
