Mumbo Jumbo
I am running Windows XP Pro Media Edition, and connecting to the internet with a TOT land Line , dial up connection, over the past month the computer connects ok, but after Some time (between 5 minuets to half an hour) the connection just drops off, and I have to reconnect., ive checked if the idle time before hanging up box was set at never on the modem settings, This happens on any ISP I use, I am wondering if there’s any thing I can do to the configuration of the network settings, or modem…? The Land line has been checked and is seem’s OK ;( No noise or crackle) it’s only used for the computer connection Can any one advise me on the best / correct configuration / settings …? For Windows XP.or comment on the problem Thank you ...... Mumbo
