Rimmer
Broken Jomtien swimming buoys to be replaced PATTAYA:--Pattaya is replacing swimming-area buoys damaged by recent storms along Jomtien Beach. Environment Department workers collected all the damaged markers July 4. Those that can be repaired will be, while severely damaged buoys will be replaced, the city said. However, no timeline was disclosed when the repaired and replacement markers would be reinstalled along the boundaries of swimming areas in Jomtien. -- PATTAYA MAIL 2019-07-09—
Emdog
I suggest leaving a decent amount of those cubes up and down the beach. They make nice little tables, stools (I've used them for that purpose recently along the walls near sidewalk). Not all that long ago there were nice sitting benches up and down the sidewalks, and the benches in concrete "social circles" that promoted a bit of impromptu socializing. They were great, so of course gone now. Replaced down by Dong Tan station with that beached gray whale thing. All seats point outwards, hot as heck if sun out. Ah progress.
