(Reuters) - Britain’s state-run health service is teaming up with Amazon to provide medical advice for common ailments such as migraines and flu via the tech giant’s voice assistant Alexa, aiming to help more patients at home and cut down on costs.

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australia needs more prayer, Prime Minister Scott Morrison, a devout Christian, has said, vowing that his administration would do whatever needed to be done by way of legislation to protect religious expression, now at the center of a national debate.

Ratchaburi ethanol factory has to pay Bt5.78m for killing stingrays

The Pollution Control Department (PCD) and Fisheries Department have slapped a Bt5.78 million lawsuit on a Ratchaburi Ethanol Co factory for allegedly discharging toxic waste in the Mae Klong River in 2016, which killed more than 50 critically endangered giant freshwater stingrays and scores of other fish, PCD chief Pralong Damrongthai said on Wednesday.

Alleged supplier of appetite suppressant faces charges

A 48-year-old man from Khon Kaen province has reportedly confessed to supplying the dangerous appetite suppressant sibutramine to a Kalasin-based weight-loss pill factory, which is being investigated in the death of a consumer, Kalasin deputy police commander Pol Colonel Triwit Sriprapa said on Wednesday.
