Every time you enter the country your 90 day clock resets. You report 89 days after the last time you entered the country. Actually you have a window of time before and after the due date to actually report. The 90 days refers to residing inside Thailand for a continuous 90 days. It has nothing to do with when you last did a 90 day report if ever.

When you do report bring your passport and the previous 90 day report receipt and fill out a TM47 form.

Yes I know that and you have 7 days grace period. But what do I need to copy?

Bring a TM47 form, your last receipt, and your passport. Nothing to copy, at least when reporting to CW in Bangkok. No fee either.

Actually I think you can go 14 days beforehand to 7 days after.

Sorry, my advice is for Bangkok. You are in Chiang Mai? Maybe it is different.

Any reason why you can't report online? Maybe you have a new passport?

No, just never have done it and today was my day 90 on the dot so did not want to risk it. I did look at it in the website and almost decided to do it, but was unsure if it is for all areas or just Bangkok so that left me reluctant to do it that way. But then it is not that big of a deal to go to immigration for me as only 20 minutes away.
