BANGKOK, 26 July 2019 (NNT) - Suvarnabhumi Airport, Samut Prakan, will waive fees for cars parked at its long-term car park during the substitution holiday for the birthday of His Majesty the King from July 26-30, 2019.

Mr. Anan Wangchingchai, Deputy Director of Suvarnabhumi Airport (Maintenance Division), Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), disclosed today that Suvarnabhumi Airport, Samut Prakan, will waive the parking fees for airline passengers who park their cars at its long-term car park, zone C, which can accommodate 718 cars during the substitution holiday for the birthday of His Majesty the King from 8 a.m. on Friday July 26, 2019, until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

Suvarnabhumi Airport will provide a free shuttle bus service for passengers from the long-term car park, Zone C, to the Passenger Terminal, 1st floor, Gate 3 and Gate 8 and 2nd floor, Gate 5.

Mr. Anan said the exemption of parking fees for long-term car park, zone C, will help reduce the burden of expenses for Suvarnabhumi Airport’ service users who wish to park their cars while traveling during the long holiday. It is expected that there will be a large number of Suvarnabhumi Airport service users. Therefore, passengers are asked to leave for the airport three hours before their international flight and two hours before a domestic flight. For more information, please contact the AOT Contact Center 1722 around the clock.

nice but if you need to pick up people, this will be hell as there will be no space available

What does a long-term car park have to do with picking people up ?

You would park in the opposite of long-term -- short-term car park -- to go in and meet your pickup.
