Charter Court judge assures everyone of the court’s impartiality

Panya-Udchachon.jpg

The Constitutional Court will exercise caution and only when necessary will it hold an individual in contempt, said Constitution Court Judge Panya Udchachon today (Sunday).

He added that the decision to uphold a contempt of court charge must be endorsed by two-thirds of the nine-member Constitutional Court panel. There are also different degrees of punishment, which may be imposed on offenders, from a warning, imposing a fine to imprisonment.

Mr. Panya explained that, in the 20 years following the creation of the Constitutional Court, no one was held in contempt because there had been no criticism of the court’s rulings.

every single time they rule for the ruling elite, and against democratic will of population - dissolving popular governments, popular political parties, barring the princess for running for PM office and dissolving party which nominated her.

they are lapdogs of the military government and billionaires, corrupted to the core

This statement is definitely worthy of a " no comment" response.

This guys from the Gen Prawit school of photogenic public officials.

I am speechless at the shamelessness and circular arguments.

If the court was impartial there would be no need to assure it.

That may be true. Also true was an ex-constitution judge admitting that there were political expediency at play. The perception of the general public was that political expediency was rather skewed towards one group and not the other.

Because they say so!

In subsequent public statements, following hard on the heels of the announcement by the charter court, The Vatican confirmed that the Pope was in fact a catholic, and the World Wildlife Fund published the results of an extensive survey which proved that bears defecate in the woods.

I wonder how difficult it is to be impartial in this country? Really just think about it for a moment, in some other parts of the world, the "elite", "Military", elected "Government" would not dare try and interfere with the Justice system. Then, of course, they also have a free press as well.

So then it's obvious people are afraid to criticize the court's ruling.

Where did he get is Dr. title, I believe at seven-eleven.
