Yes and they can declare whatever they want as commercial wares. Basically every arrival is screwed if they happen to have a bad day.

luckily, they got directives from above !

People in Singapore don't even walk around with the 'blings' even though Singapore is ranked as 1 of the safest country. It is bit odd why is she decorated with all the blings.... if her intention is unlawful she should be penalised.

Daily News reported that the tourist was covered in white gold jewelry encrusted with diamonds including bracelets and earrings.

If she walks around the streets dripping in those sparklers she gonna wake up with a headache minus everything... the rock on her finger will get someones attention !

One normally has pictures of valuable items precisely to show as identification to either insurance company or police if required

SINGAPOREANS are known to be the idiots of the region, but so stupid ??

what did she think to herself?

that the airport police will stop all flights and order

a search on each and every living being who was around her aircraft?

No, they are not. You’re sitting in one of the countries known to be the biggest idiots and most untrustworthy in the region.

I am sticking my neck out here I know, but IMO she is probably from Dubai and maybe she  carries a Singapore passport.

Singapore is part Arab.

no, Singapore isn't part Arab.

it's 75% Chinese, 13% Malays and 8% Indians plus some few others.

Because its in print, it may not necessarily be so.... even more so when quoting clumsily written news articles in Thailand which are never proof read.

Its quite likely that what is really meant is that the flight originated in Singapore and the article therefore mistaken lends us to believe the lady in question is Singaporean.

Need the Report to make insurance claim.

I wonder how much it was insured for?

seriously if you lost something why would you go to police and not lost and found? And how do you think police can help? Besides giving you police report [emoji6]
