ID/Passport required for toddler

Featured Replies

Next time I go to Thailand my Thai girlfriend and I want to bring her daughter and granddaughter from Chiang Rai to Bangkok and possibly DaNang Vietnam and back for a vacation. Does a Thai infant/toddler under 2 yrs of age require a Passport or ID to fly with her mother within Thailand? Or will the Birth certificate be enough?

Thanks in advance.

Stephen

Yes, the child will need a passport to travel. Sometimes even the birth cetificate might be needed.

No. For domestic travel birth certificate is all that is required. For international travel passport will be required.

As said for domestic travel the child's birth certificate is enough for domestic travel.
