I thought all Visa request forms asked for a photo.

Didn't you provide one with the original application?

Precisely I thought so too, as a matter of fact, done so too. Photos are a pre-requisite for visas.

Actually, the officer at the embassy was kind to contact him to bring photos when he goes by to collect passport. Others may well simply reject the application.

1) Suspicious ... asking you for a photo. Object in every possible way .... How dare they?

2) There is no 90 days tourist visa. There is a (double entry) 60 days TR which has (can) be extended for 30 days. Doesn't come free though

and you have to go to the immigration. And there they will ask you for .... more photos. Be prepared!

Yes, there is a 90-day tourist visa. The single-entry tourist visa is valid for travel to Thailand within 90 days from the visa’s issue date.

The tourist visa for more than one entry is usually valid for travel to Thailand the specified number of times within 6 months – some consulates may use 180 days – from the visa’s issue date.

Upon each entry into Thailand based on a tourist visa, the tourist from qualifying countries is given permission to stay for 60 days. It is this permission to stay that can be extended at an Immigration office, for a fee.

Got double entry on the one above... give up to around 5.5 months with one exit and some payment of extentions... cost is A$90. which is A$45 per entry!

maybe i did give photo last time... i just do not remember taking one in... was just wondering if that's correct...
