UK visit visa processing time and date of travel.

Hey All,

 

My Thai wife applied for her tourist visa to the UK on the 29th of July 2019. Today is 30th of August 2019 Friday, we have not received any SMS or email. 

 

On the application we wrote Monday 2nd September 2019 for "date you plan to arrive in the UK".

 

I don't know what to do.

 

I am panicking. Can anyone suggest me what to do.

 

What happens if the date of plan to arrive in the UK goes past.

Golly, try contacting the UK embassy and asking them.

It certainly seems like taking a Thai lady wife or not to any western country nowadays, is very difficult.

Contacting the British Embassy will not help. They have nothing to do with visa applications.

Has she have her interview and to check paperwork? ,They normally take 5-10 working days to come thru.

Also get them on Twitter they reply pretty quick

I don't like to directly point out faults in other posts, but both your points are incorrect.
