This should be a simple process I have done before. However, with the TM30 debate going on, do I now need:-

 

- Original Passport - copy of page with picture and TM6 card and Visa Extension page.

- 2 photos 6*4

- Tabien Baan original - copy of front pages

- TM 30 ???????

 

I have lived in the same house for 15 years, but went out the country for a week in August 2018

This is what Immigration gave me when I asked for the needed doc.for address certificate for renew my 5 years DL. in May last

Remark the choices **------**, not all of them you need , even old drivers license as address verification accepted ….

Even this last week I did my 6th Ret ext.  nobody asked me TM30 , I always give them my lease copy , accepted year by year .

BTW I never had a TM30 ,as 8 years same address

Thanks for the quick reply. I have seen the newspaper reports about TM30, but it seems it has not made any difference to the Residency letter in Pattaya at least.

Thanks to you I have renewed my DL for 5 years without any proof of residency and still haven't filled a Tm30 after 15 years in Thailand ! Thanks again ! So I am still laughing at all these people who worry about such a stupid form and law !
