Safe To Travel With Children? (haze)

Featured Replies

Please help! We are a family with two children, 9 months and 3 years old. We were going to Chiang Mai and then further on to Pai a few days ago when we learned about the pollution situation. Our trip is (temporarily?) postponed and we are trying to decide if its safe to travel north at all with our young children. We are currently on Koh Samui, just waiting for a sign that it is ok to go... We have 2 weeks left of our 3 month Thailand-trip and are eager to see something different than just beaches!

Anyone who can advise??

Thanks!

With last night's showers, the air has cleared considerably. This morning sees blue skies for the first time in ages, and also clear views of the mountains. I think half of the airborne particles came down with the showers last night and ended up on my car :o
