Hi.... I have been reading and I am looking for current information.

I have been on extensions for non-o child dependency for the last 3 years. This year I could not leave the money in the bank for 3 months. Now I am on a tourist exempt stamp.  Can I get a M.E Non - O from Penang or Kota Bharu for this?  I do have the 400k to show in a bank statement. I am not married but I have the Kor Lor 11 from  the district office (amphoe) to say I am his legai guardian and have joint custody. 

 

I aso read the consulate may only offer a single enter Non-O.

A very worrying time for me...

If anyone could give answers I would be truly grateful.

It was issued because you’re the father, not dependency.

Under the rules the funds only need to be in your account on the day you apply, although you’re best advised to keep it in the bank during the 30 day under consideration period.

As far as I know it’s still possible in Penang with 400K. You just need to show a birth certificate.
