Another TM47 and TM30 story

Not going to dive into the discussions of TM47 and TM30 that more than abundant in the forum. What still amazes me is the lack of consistency in the criteria that are applied, based upon the feedback from a lot of people.

I have been reporting my 90days consistently online for quite a while now, without any issues, until my latest one, due on the 9th of the current month. Did it as usual, but for some unknown reason was not approved. Well, going there in person is a pain in the ass, decided to test my luck by sending hardcopies by registered mail...let's see how that works out.

Have been reading about some people having issues with Visa extensions, 90 reports due to the latest enforcement of the TM30.

Well, our house is on my wife's name but I do have my yellow house book. After reading many stories about all the documents that were asked, without much hope, I registered online as "House Master", submitted my signed passport with copy of my visa, TM6 and yellow book. Who would have guessed, after 2 weeks got my login and password! Guess we sometimes get lucky! As far as I can tell, all seems to work, both in the browser and smartphone applications. Planning to leave the country again in November, and upon return will fill in the TM30 online. Regarding my 90report, if I don't get my hardcopy back by mail, my next one will be due only some weeks after I apply for my next 1year Im-O extension. We'll see how that all works out.

I've never done a TM30, but I've always been successful with my online 90 days (when the website is working). My latest 90 day report was done last week. I have a mate who does online 90 days and it can be hit or miss for him. And he's done his TM30 and paid his fine.

The thing about the mail is once you realized it is in a black hole, it is too late to do online. No online in Nonthaburi, but I would take them over CW any day of the week.

This topic just got several posts shorter after I removed a bunch of bickering and baiting posts. Time to end it or warnings will be given.

From what I have read, you cannot be the House Master as your wife is the Landlord, perhaps someone else can shed some light on this, I mean is there a different meaning here ?

Lack of consistency, officers themselves might not understand what is what, maybe they are also bored with all this unnecessary red tape... anyway, TM30 for me seems to be resolved, not sure the issue with TM47... guess win some, lose some

I did a TM30 when.they first appeared in Phuket and were copied onto the back of old documents. Since I returned from a visi to UK I have never stayed anywhere other than my wife's house, but when I mentioned this to an immigration officer he told me I had to do a new one. No problem, but what do I put for date of arrival, 3/5/2003?
