Have to try to renew my non-O "visa" based on retirement next month- Read about having to get criminal record from U.S and here ( Sisaket). Got a report from a webiste in U.S. Today I went to Sisaket police and asked them about a criminal report for me so I could bring it along with everything else to Savannhket next month, and they had no idea what I was talking about-   Is there a form I can get to show them or something-

You say renew a  non O based on retirement. But  do you mean an application for  an extension of stay based on retirement?  If so I am  not aware of any requirement for a  further police report if you  had clearance for the original  visa which is now obsolete.

Check the  requirements for an extension of  stay versus an initial  visa  based on retirement.

 

Oh. You are  changing provincial Immigration location. Not at  all sure what that entails but  maybe a polite request from original  Imm. Office  for  records  to show new might work?

Have seen question  about similar  but have  never seen outcome

OP you are applying for extension of stay based on retirement. Your non o is history. You do not need criminal clearance.

yeah, just a thought- IO here in Sisaket not very helpful with income transfers-

He was just asking about applying for his extension at a different office due to his local immigration office being difficult.

If not resolved he will be going to Savannakhet.
