Chaig Rai Land

Featured Replies

Hi

I am looking for some land around Chaing Rai, up to 45 min. from town, mountain view would be nice. Maybe a pond. From 5-50 rai. only for retirement home, please send deails and price, thanks

It's hazy almost everyday in Chiangrai so if you want a mountain view you'd better be really close to the mountains..."in" would be better than "close" actually.

Chownah

50 rai for a retirement home? It will take a lot of staff and effort to keep that tidy!

Best bet is to drive around to find the sort of view that you are looking for and then find some land in the area.

Start by looking here.. Land Chiang Rai - Thai Farmer Bank

Then spend some time driving around and getting to know the areas where the land is for sale.

Don't be fooled by the term 'Muang', yes it does mean the land should be in the city or near the city, but frequently the city boundary goes on for miles and miles away from anywhere you'd want to live.

Remember: Location: Location: Location.

A point in hand.... digging a pond will cost peanuts.... get the location right and if you want a pond dig one yourself.
