Critics have contended that the MP had grossly inflated the value of the two mineral pieces which, are believed by some to possess mysterious properties. National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) secretary-general Worawit Sookboon said today that his officials will check the two magnetite pieces, known in Thai as Lek Lai, as well as other overvalued Buddha amulets, to determine their true value. Your almost correct but by inflating the value they create a higher value of possessions and can later put them at a lower value and then their increase in possessions is not that high and it looks as if they did not make much money. But this opens up a whole can of worms if they are going to check things like that.
