Chonburi provincial police chief Pol Maj-Gen Nanthachart Suphamongkhon announced the arrest of a 26 year old Thai man after he stabbed a 27 year old Thai in Muang district.

Worachai was stabbed in the flank by Sukree.

77kaoded were at pains to point out that this case was not one of jealousy.

Sukree had split up from his girlfriend for a long time and he was once friends with the victim.

But he had taken exception to Worachai having a go at his mother in a Facebook post.

So he went over with a friend on a motorbike to their house to confront him.

Sukree was taken on a reenactment saying that Worachai attacked him first with a piece of metal.

He has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and having a knife as a weapon in a public place.

'attacked him first with a piece of metal.'

'having a knife as a weapon in a public place. '

So a knife is classed as a piece of metal and vice-versa?

What? No! One person had a piece of metal, and the other had a knife.
