Immigration raids in Surin/Prasat

Featured Replies

You can or have already had visits from Surin Immigration district 4. It seems they have different rules than Kap Chom so beware.

OP, was that a one time thing, or did they visit more people? Did they visit one foreigner, which is pretty normal after applying for a certain type of visa/extension of stay, or did they actually raid houses and restaurants????

Sorry for asking but a similar occurrence happened in a neighboring province and it was blown up to a bigger thing than it actually was.

@Bubblegum.....if you are referring to "Kap Cheong" immigration, you are confused. Surin Immigration is only a name change. Previously known as Kap Cheong Immigration and now known as Surin Immigration.

If you have actually had a visit from Area District 4 Immigration, they would have come from Khon Kaen.

Who exactly was it who visited?

We had similar a few years ago in Sisaket. They were from BKK/Korat looking for Lao/Cambodian workers
