PC Monitor

Since a while I have an ACER 25", IPS Panel, FullHD (1080p) connected by DVI.

I am very satisfied with that and have no practical need for higher resolutions (2k, 4k).

DVI has become rare but I simply "like it better". HDMI seems to dominate.

What connectors does your graphic card have?

What resolutions does it offer?

Do you have sources better than FullHD (netflix 2k or so?).

What is your main use (just browsing/streaming video? gaming?)

What size (diagonal) can you place on the desk?

How much you want to spend? (anywhere from 5k to more than 50k Baht)?

One of the most important things is the connection between your PC and the monitor.

It should be a digital connection like DVI or HDMI. And this is more critical for higher resolutions.

If you have an old PC with only analogue video output you should get a digital video card. If you don't play games a card for about 1500B should do the job.

If you don't have any special requirements just buy the cheapest one with a VA or IPS panel.

Just had a look and surprised how cheap they have become.

So for very basic requirements you can go down to 3000 or so.

Most expensive model at Lazada is a 4k, 31.1" EIZO for 523'710 Baht (half a million!).
