You are pushing your own bias and imaginations on to people. The reason why the procedure is done at an early age is because the amount of skin removed is relatively small 2-4mm and the recovery is fast. The people who are so vocal in their opposition are typically European and are often people with fetishes or emotional instability. Normal people do not obsess over a penis foreskin and they certainly do not invent false "information" to support their claims as many of the fetishists seem to do. The procedure has been around since the dawn of time, and has variations. The common practice amongst multiple different cultures, and the billions of people who are circumcised who are doing ok does suggest there was a shared benefit. They don't need some angry European telling them how to live their lives. If Jesus, and Nelson Mandela were ok, then take the hint not to meddle in other people's genitalia. -

Yes I have. It is not a long judgement and can easily be read in 10 minutes. In my original reply I did quote key parts of the judgement. I even provided a link. The court's opinion is not a ruling on gender reassignment. It is a ruling on whether or not the 14th amendment was violated by the TN law. The takaway is that a state can determine what medical treatments can or cannot be administered, which is why I believe Libertarians can be expected to be having fits. It is an example of Big Government reaching into people's daily lives.
