Thai man claims self-defence denies murdering friend in Phrapradaeng

A 30 year old man is in custody following the stabbing of a psychiatric patient in the Bang Ya Phraek sub-district of Phrapradaeng on Saturday. Twenty seven year old Theerayut Phusit died from injuries after being stabbed in the neck near the expressway.

NAGANO, Japan (Reuters) - Rescue workers waded through muddy, waist-high waters on Monday searching for missing people after one of the worst typhoons to hit Japan in recent history, with rain forecast to resume later in the day.

Two injured, one dead as pick-up truck crashes into parked cars

A race between a pick-up truck and motorbike resulted in a fatal crash and damage to nine cars parked outside a building where the owners were attending a funeral service. Three people were severely injured in the smash, with one woman later dying in hospital.
