Just received this message on my (old) phone linked to a Krungsri current account:

 

"Krungsri cardholders, please replace your Magnetic ATM/Debit Card to Chip-Embedded Thai Standard Card for higher security at any Krungsri Branch nationwide within January 15, 2020.  Free Card Replacement Fee."

Free card replacement fee? ????????????

That was a nice expression. Did the bank write it like that?

 

And yes, they are asking people to replace their card to a better and more secure technology. ????
