EC clears Thanathorn over his blind trust remark

The Election Commission (EC) has cleared Future Forward party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit of any wrongdoing for his announcement, ahead of the March 24th general election, that he would transfer his assets into a blind trust.

 

Political activist Srisuwan Janya lodged a petition with the EC’s Office, asking the EC to determine whether Thanathorn’s announcement was a violation of Section 73 (5) of the Election Act or amounted to a public deceit to woo voters.

 

While campaigning in the Northeast in March, Thanathorn told a media briefing that he had signed a memorandum of understanding with Phatra Asset Management Company Limited to transfer his assets into a blind trust.

OH the truth of the matter! 

pedantic pursuit of khun Thanathorn has fallen flat on this issue,

many more obstacles for him to negotiate.

Gritty determination and the stubbornness of a mule,

he can get through this quagmire, and brush the sh##t off

in the end.

Does this include those media stocks everyone made such a big deal about?  He will put the cha cha history to shame.  The last 6 years has been a blight.  He and people like him will one rid the country of military interference.

Thanathorn has not been allowed to take his seat in Parliament yet so he has no need to transfer his assets into blind trust until he does so!

Can't happen soon enough, but unfortunately it's not going to happen in the near future. ????
