I have already done it successfully, so there should be no reason why they will not grant you the same. Jaggg88 Posted October 24, 2019 Share Posted October 24, 2019 My friend inquired about converting to extension based on marriage instead of retirement and was told next year he must use 400,000 baht in the bank as they will no longer be accepting monthly income. I thought this was just a rouse to keep him on retirement as I know they don't like doing the extra work involved with marriage extensions but maybe it's true.
