Trying to figure out where to go for visa extention. Currently i have Non Imm "O", received abroad. i`d say i have to go to Thai Immigration Bureau Division (Chatuchak area). But this address confused me: Immigration Bureau (located near Chong Nonsi), which is mentioned here: https://www.immigration.go.th/index.

Please advise:)

Isn't there only one immigration office in BKK to do anything? The one at Chaeng Wattana called Government Complex?

So I've been wasting my time travelling over an hour for many years to get my METV extensions. I always thought we all in BKK had to go to Chaeng Wattana?

Chaeng Wattana is where you have to go.

that is the old location and address
it serves some migrant workers from neighboring countries but all other services are in Chaeng Wattana government complex

Immigration Bureau 507 Soi Suan Plu Sathorn Bangkok 10120 still exists but is not used for extensions or other general immigration operations. There is also the Chamchuri One stop center for BOI and special persons as well as Big C Lat Phrao for three neighboring  country labor. Chaeng Wattana Government Center is the place for all others to do immigration. The OP needs to go to the Government Center on Chaeng Wattana Road to apply for an extension unless the OP has BOI privileges.

Don't dare to "go to" Soi Suan Plu.

As far as I understand its also the location of the infamous IDC (immigration detention center).

Humans stuffed in cages like pigs on the truck.

Not fun.

OP, you make your way to Chatuchak which also cross with Mon chit if using bts.

Ask lady as bus. Think its 59. Anyway that drops you and imm complex. There is shuttle bus to last complex and moto bike. Just walk it.

it is the headquarters of the Immigration Bureau.

No immigration services are provided there.

That's the old immigration centre which was closed years ago. You need to go to Chaeng Wattana.

It is very possible to use the immigration services they provide at Suan Plu if sufficiently determined. All you need is a long overstay, and getting arrested. You will end up imprisoned in their detention centre, and all contact with immigration prior to your deportation will take place there.

FYI, just in case...

Finally i have extended my visa (Non Imm "O") here: Samut Prakhan Immigration Office, located right near BTS Pak Nam.
