I have just been informed that an old friend, Dr. Bill Jones, passed away at his home in Sankhampaeng about a month ago. He was first diagnosed to be suffering from Motor Neurone disease about 18 months ago and the vile disease took its course, eventually robbing him of the ability to breathe.

Bill moved to Chiang Mai when he retired from Professor of Psychology at Newcastle Uni, near Sydney. Despite retiring here, he often said he had never worked so hard in his life before.

He helped many troubled people in Chiang Mai through both his counselling, and his ability at treating chronic pain through hypnotherapy etc.

A good man, he is missed.

May he rest in peace.

p1p - very sorry to hear about this. There are many good people living in Thailand both farung and Thai, we benefit from them whether we know them or not.
