Service area for Cheangwattana Immigration Office

Featured Replies

I have done multiple searches and have not found anything that shows me the limits of the service area for the Cheangwattana office. I seem to remember seeing a map or diagram of it in the past but have been unable to find it again. I'm assuming for example that while Pattaya is in District 1, that you can't head over to CW to do your paperwork. So, does anyone have a link or a file that shows where the boundaries for the service area for CW are located?

Thanks

David

Cheangwattana, for most purposes, serves only Bangkok and Thonburi. If you live in other provinces adjoining Bangkok (such as Samut Prakan, Nonthaburi or Pathum Thani) you must use the immigration offices in those provinces.

Thonburi is a district of Bangkok so they use CW.

Yellow on this map is Bangkok. Source: https://www.immigration.go.th/branch_center

CW services BKK, so if you stay in BKK you can do your stuff at CW.

If you stay in another province you are supposed to use the immigration office in this province.

How hard would it be to type 4 more letters to write Bangkok instead of using the code for Suvarnabhumi airport.

Removed an off-topic post and the replies to it.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
