I need to get of these and have been told they take from 3 days to 2 weeks.

 

I got one from the same place 2 years ago for something else and got it immediately.

A police clearance certificate is not required to get a work permit.

Unless it is required by your employer only embassies and consulates want one to apply for a non-b visa for teaching.

All police clearance certificates have to applied for at police clearance service center in Bangkok.
