Thai tourist found after wandering four days in jungle of Rawi Island

Satun Marine Police has found a Thai tourist who had been lost in the forest for four days laying on a beach in Rawi Island.

The Thai tourist, Chulee Singhanart (ชุลี สิงหนาท), and a German friend had been lost since March 23rd during their fishing trip at Rawi Island, Muang District, Satun Province.

A team of marine police officers led by Pol.Capt.Wachiranont Nontna (วชิรานนท์ นนท์นา) which found Ms Chulee reports that she was very exhausted and in need of food when they found her. She also had scratches and mosquito bites all over her body. The police officers later delivered her to the La Ngoo (ละงู) Hospital.

Inspector of the 3rd Marine Police Division in Satun, Pol.Lt.Col.Wora-ek Netiniyom (วรเอก เนตินิยม) reveals that Ms Chulee is now unable to answer the police’s questions. However, he says primary investigation shows that Ms Chulee blacked out when she was in the jungle of the island. She had been wandering there and could not find her way out after she woke up.
