3 30 Days Then Tourist Visa Then? And Other Issues

Featured Replies

hi board!

thanks all for the helpful information

what isn't clear and would like to hear about is:

since the new enforcements starting in October 06,

if someone has 3 30 day visa exemptions

then gets a 60 day tourist visa

then gets a 30 extension

can they start over and get 1 2 or 3 new visa

exemptions

or must they get a new tourist visa?

also i have read something about only 2 TVs a year, true?

i thought one could start the visa exemptions over

again but now i am reading in some posts that the

count is backwards

or that this doesn't make 180 days

can you get 7 more days extension after the 30 day

extension, just to make sure you have 180 days?

sounds like one can easily be denied entry or the full or 30 days

also

what is the difference between a multiple entry visa

and simply applying for reentry?

do you apply for reentry with a TV at immigration before you leave?

what does it cost? 1000 or 1900?

can you apply for reentry more than once with a TV?

if you can isn't that basically the same as multiple

entry?

don't you have to apply for reentry even with a

multiple entry? if so what is the advantage of

multiple entry?

most importantly

i am looking forward to hearing from people who got

the tourist visa after using up 3 30 day entries and

then went for visa exemptions again

this is probaly the most pressing issue for many people but has not been addressed as much as expected
