No I do not sit in bars, but I have driven HGVs in very bad conditions, rain, fog, snow and ice, around many dangerous bends, on country roads, and on unfamiliar roads, both in the UK and OZ, in daylight and at night, and in 55 years have never had or caused an accident, or run off a road, so get on yer scooter and push off. Driven cars in NZ, and Thailand on narrow windy Unfamiliar roads and still accident free. Nice try at trolling a flame post. -

Ripley is the story of a 50s / 60s (idk, seems to be a little vague on the time) grifter who takes a simple job in Italy. The locations are excellent, as is the tale, it’s quite slow and drawn out, lots of artsy shots, in a neo noir fashion. I enjoyed it, but I like stuff like this, a lot of folks won’t. -

Here's a shorter entry about Silesia: After World War I, Lower Silesia, having by far a German majority, remained with Germany while Upper Silesia, after a series of insurrections by the Polish inhabitants, was split. Part joined the Second Polish Republic and was administered as the Silesian Voivodeship. The Prussian Province of Silesia within Germany was divided into the Provinces of Lower Silesia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Silesia A very ethnically mixed area. And of course, after WW2, when Germany lost the territory it had briefly reclaimed by means of war, it somehow managed to thrive without it. At least what was then West Germany did. Maybe to a few people like you, it's still an issue. -
