Anyone ever used the local classified add websites to find a house sitter? There seems to be about a dozen websites. I was wondering if someone who has had success could recommend one over the others. Thanks.

I would recommend using Chiang Mai Christian Community Classifieds.

Although I don’t personally identify as being part of that community, I’ve had nothing but good experiences using their Facebook site.

For anyone living in Wongamat Beach, there's a new open mall being constructed across the street from the Centara Grand Mirage resort. It's supposed to open later this year and will contain restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, etc. With any luck, the grocery store will be good. And the area could use a few more restaurants.
