zappalot
I had a nonimmigrant visa based on marriage run out of validity a few days ago. Anyway since the last entry gave me a stay until January 13 there is no problem but can I still apply for an extension of stay Based on marriage or do I have to get a fresh nonimmigrant visa with the validity of three months (single entry) somewhere? I also have a work permit with enough income, so from that side also no problem.
cornishcarlos
I believe you can just apply during the last 30 days of your permission to stay.. So mid December onwards.. Edited November 21, 2019 by cornishcarlos
ubonjoe
Your visa being expired means nothing now since you are already in the country. No problem to apply for an extension of stay during the last 30 days of the 90 day entry you have now.
fishtank
Yes you can during the final 30 days of your stay or 45 days at some offices.
