Birds?

Featured Replies

Unfortunately I have no picture, but we have two birds visiting our garden in Rayong province and I looked around interned sites and can’t identify them. Any ideas? Big maybe size of a small chicken, black with brown wings, longish tail feathers, and making strange sound, Hu, Hu.hu, I thought it was a monkey first time. Lol.

Thank you but that is not same. My birds are bigger, light brown wings and tail fan shaped.V shape

It's a Greater Coucal - sometimes called a Crow Pheasant (the Pheasant Coucal is an Australian bird not found in Thailand).
